Basic Navigation
Nora provides an intuitive navigation system that allows you to access AI without interrupting your workflow.
The core interface consists of the main screen, sidebar, quick modal, clipboard, and menu bar icon—each designed for fast and seamless access at any time.
1. Main Screen
When you launch Nora, the main chat screen opens first.
You can start a basic conversation here and manage multiple topics simultaneously through different tabs.
Multi-tab shortcuts:
Command + T
: Open a new tabCommand + 1–10
: Switch between tabsCommand + A
: Open a Multi-tab
2. Sidebar
How to open:
Move your cursor to the right edge of the screen, or
Use the shortcut
Option + W
Features:
Instantly summon an LLM and start chatting, no matter what app you’re currently using.
Continue conversations while referencing previous chat logs.
Example: While working in a design tool, you can ask “Generate color palette ideas” and get contextual answers directly in the sidebar.
3. Quick Question Modal
Shortcut:
Option + Q
Features:
A small input window that lets you ask quick questions without covering your screen.
You can view the response inside the modal or move it to the main chat for record keeping.
Example: While editing a document, type “Summarize last paragraph” to get an instant summary.
4. Clipboard Management
How to open:
Click the clipboard icon in the upper-right corner of the main chat tab,
Swipe right on the sidebar, or
Click the clipboard button in the sidebar’s top-right corner.
Features:
Copied text is automatically saved, ready to be sent to Nora for further queries.
Drag clipboard items directly into the input box for instant use.
Example: Copy a paragraph from a report → open the clipboard with a gesture → drag it into the chat → ask “Summarize
